On October 31, Professor Li Liangping, Chairman and Founder of T-Cell Immune (Guangzhou) Technology Co., Ltd., and his team visited Shenzhen Cell Valley for exchange. Wang Jianxun, Chief Scientist of Shenzhen Cell Valley; Tang Xiaomeng, Deputy General Manager; Sun Rui, Head of Marketing; and Wu Xiaosheng, Sales Supervisor, extended a warm welcome and held symposium discussions to jointly explore cooperation directions and specific matters.
First, led by Head of Marketing Sun Rui, the T-Cell Immune team toured Shenzhen Cell Valley's smart exhibition hall, GMP-grade production workshops, and R&D laboratories, gaining an initial understanding of Shenzhen Cell Valley's development history, strategic layout, and comprehensive production and R&D pipelines.
During the symposium, Head of Marketing Sun Rui provided the T-Cell Immune team with a detailed introduction to the company's products and services, its core technology—the advantages of retroviral vectors—cooperation cases, and comprehensive corporate strength. Subsequently, Professor Li Liangping and Professor Wang Jianxun engaged in in-depth exchanges on the current development status of cellular immunotherapy, recent research achievements, TCR-T therapy, and the industrial application of retroviral vectors. Both parties reached a high degree of consensus on the advantages of retroviral vectors, including large packaging capacity and low industrialization costs. They plan to switch the underlying technology of T-Cell Immune's existing TCR-T R&D pipelines to retroviral vectors and engage in comprehensive cooperation in IIT clinical research and new drug applications, deepening the research and development of TCR-T cell therapy and jointly advancing progress and development in the cell and gene therapy field.
Professor Li Liangping highly recognized Shenzhen Cell Valley's technical team and strategic layout. He noted that Shenzhen Cell Valley possesses one of the first R&D and production teams in China to master industrial-grade retroviral vector technology (the PackRV-SS system), and that retroviral vectors, compared with other vectors, offer advantages such as high transfection efficiency and stable expression. He expressed the hope that Shenzhen Cell Valley's core technology—efficient and stable retroviral vectors—would help elevate TCR-T research and clinical application to a new level.
This exchange visit laid a solid foundation for both parties to jointly advance the research and development of TCR-T cell therapy and make positive contributions to truly benefiting cancer patients.
